Colorado Mountain College

With "mountain" in the name, it's no surprise you will find a CMC campus right in the heart of downtown. There is no better place to learn in the Colorado mountains than CMC, and no place more central in Colorado than Carbondale. Historic downtown is full of hip restaurants, coffee shops, and even a recreation center complete with a climbing wall. Bike anywhere in town, and bike right to the trailhead of some of the best trails in the valley. In winter the Rio Grande trail is even groomed for xski lunch break runs.
