Menu Design

Brewer-Cantelmo has been providing quality menu design and custom menu covers since 1928. We offer a wide range of choices of materials in leathers, faux leathers, laminated materials, plexiglass, woods etc. All menu covers are designed to withstand the heavy wear and tear common to the food service trade and are completely compatable with the requirements of computer generated menus. We do not stock inventory of menu covers as all covers provided by us are made to order with complete selection of materials, menu design, construction and color slected and approved by our customers. We are happy to provide guidance based on our many years of experience in the trade, and there is never a charge for our menu design service. Any quantity of covers may be ordered as there is no minimum quantity requirement.

The best way to figure out what your menu cover should be is to start the menu design from inside and work to the outside.  What size is the paper or card insertand how many sheets will be needed?  Since we build all of our products by hand, the insert size can be simple such as letter (11" tall x 8 ½" wide) or legal (14" tall x 8 1/2" wide). We can also build a menu around half letter, half legal, or any custom size down to 1/16" accuracy. We have provided menu covers supporting menus of from 1 to 12 pages and wine books with almost any number of pages required.

If the pages need to be held on multiple page views, we can build corners or strips depending on the look you desire.  Also, we have screw post binders and ring binders for menus with very many pages. (these are used mostly with long wine lists).

Our experienced staff can make recommendations based on the specific details or your establishment and we can also describe your unique ideas to our factory. We will spend whatever time is necessary with you on the menu design to insure you make all your desired choices of the many details and options available. We are happy to provide suggestions and guidance based on our many years of experience free of charge.

While we don't print paper or card menus in house, we can refer you to printing houses with restaurant clientèle or designers who can help organize the menu or develop ideas for the cover.

Furthermore, we can help source small items that coincide with menus like elastic bands and metal corners.  If plastic menus are what you need, we have close relationships with numerous suppliers which allows us to pass on wholesale discounts.
