Restore NYC is a nonprofit dedicated to restoring freedom, safety and hope for foreign-born survivors of sex trafficking by providing long-term, holistic aftercare services. We work with local and federal officials and other organizations to facilitate the prosecution of traffickers and empower survivors.
We restore freedom for survivors of sex trafficking by working with law enforcement officials to facilitate the prosecution of traffickers and by providing clients with immigration support. These form a foundation upon which clients can realize the freedom to pursue a better life.
We restore safety in which clients can begin the healing process. In November 2010, we opened the Northeast's first long-term safehouse, which protects clients from being re-trafficked and is staffed 24 hours a day with live-in support.
Restore NYC's staff is trained and equipped to provide high-quality, holistic aftercare to survivors. We utilize an empowerment model that focuses on restoring a client's hope through validation, community support and identifying and building strengths.
