Prehensile-Tailed Skink

This skink gets its name from its tail which can be used curl around objects such as branches for balance.This is the only known species of skink with a prehensile, or grasping, tail.

Please note that only the named adults on the membership may use the membership card for admission. Valid ID for each named adult must be presented at admission.

Membership Categories

 Basic Levels 

• Individual $38: One named adult
• Dual $52: Choose one of the following: two named adults OR one named adult PLUS one guest
• Family $68: Two named adults and their children or grandchildren between the ages of 3-18
• Family +1 $82 BEST VALUE: Same as above PLUS one guest per visit
  
  

Senior Levels 

• Senior Dual $42: Choose one of the following: two named adults OR one named adult PLUS one guest (at least one named adult must be age 62 or older)
• Grandparent $58: Two named adults and their grandchildren between the ages of 3-18 (At least one named adult must be age 62 or older)
  
  

Friends Levels 

• Patron $125: All the benefits of a family membership, plus
  • 1 free guest per visit

• Copper Circle $500: Same as Sustaining PLUS Recognition on zoo lobby signage, invitation to additional special events
• Titanium Circle$1,000: Same as above PLUS VIP tour for six, 10 zoo passes, 2 Brew at the Zoo tickets
• Bronze Circle$2,500: Same as above PLUS 10 Zoo Boo tickets
• Silver Circle $5,000: Same as above PLUS 4 Brew at the Zoo tickets, 15 Zoo Boo tickets
• Gold Circle $7,500: Same as above PLUS 6 Brew at the Zoo tickets, 20 Zoo Boo tickets, one complimentary use of reception hall (during zoo hours)
• Platinum Circle $10,000: Same as above PLUS 8 Brew at the Zoo tickets, 25 Zoo Boo tickets, open evening at the zoo for up to 1,000 (Sun - Thurs)
  
  

**Attention Utica & Watertown Zoo Members:
The Rosamond Gifford Zoo's reciprocal admission policy applies only to facilities accredited through the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. At this time, the Utica and Watertown Zoos are not accredited and, therefore, their members do not receive free reciprocal admission to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Please check with your zoo regarding its AZA status. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Annual Member Appreciation Event
Wednesday June 13, 2012
5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Join us for an exclusive after hours event at the zoo for our members. Enjoy live entertainment from the bubbleman, keeper talks, animal encounters and light refreshments. This event is free for members and adopt parents; additional tickets may be purchased at the door. No RSVP required.

The Jungle Café will be open or feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy at Gatherings, our green outdoor space. 

Check out our exclusive Junior Keeper Adopt packages that will be available only at this event!

Your Junior Keeper package will include:

• Mini plush animal
• Photo of your adopted animal
• Adopt Certificate
