WINTER IS STILL HERE!! Although we have had temperature swings of -28F to +40F already this year, present temperatures are hovering around 5F above. We are anticipating above freezing temperatures beginning mid March. It has been a very cold and snowy winter reminiscent of times of old here on the Kenai. We are hopeful that this means we will once again have healthy plentiful runs of king, red, and silver salmon. The heavy snowfall will give us plenty of water in the rivers come spring. This could be the year of a new world record - only time will tell. Come and enjoy the bounty of Alaska here on the Kenai River.

ECO TRIPS - We will be offering guided hiking trips, clam digging trips, canoe trips, flight seeing with and without glacier landings, birding treks, scenic raft trips, dog sledding, horseback riding, and beach walks. Alaska Fishing Lodge - Luxury Townhomes
Riverfront Luxury Townhomes: The three attached townhouse style chalets, frequently referred to as the main lodge, sit near the river's edge. Each provides their occupants with a river view. Each has a large living room, dining area, completely equipped kitchen, and one - two baths, a covered deck and barbecue grill. The units can be configured with one, two, or three bedrooms depending on the size of group. They can also be completely opened up for one large group. Alaska Fishing Lodge - Executive Forest View
Executive Forest View Chalets: These chalets are located in a quieter area of the kamp. Each has two bedrooms, full kitchen, one and a half baths, living room with gas log fireplace, dining area, TV/VCR, and a large covered deck with gas barbecue grill. The two bedroom chalets are nestled in the trees just a short walk from the river and close to the spa area. Appointed in quality decor, these chalets easily accommodate 4 people. Alaska Fishing Lodge - Deluxe Chalets
Deluxe Chalets in the Trees: These two bedroom chalets have full kitchens, one and a half baths, living room, full kitchen, dining area, TV/VCR, and a covered deck with barbecue grill. Also situated in the trees, these chalets are just a short walk from the river. They are designed to accommodate 4 people and are nicely appointed and very comfortable. Alaska Fishing Lodge - Cozy Cabins
Cozy Cabins: Our 1 Bedroom Cabins are also nestled in the trees just a short walk from the river's edge. These cabins have a living room-kitchen-dining area with loveseat/sleeper, and TV/VCR. The bedroom has either a king bed or two twin beds, dresser, and a private shower bath. Each cabin has a covered deck with gas barbecue grill. Alaska Fishing Lodge - Rustic Bungalow
Rustic Bungalows: Our bunglows have two twin beds, table and chairs, and a loveseat/sleeper. Each cabin has a private shower bath, and small kitchenette area with hotplate, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, small refrigerator, TV/VCR and a gas grill on a covered deck. Our Alaska fishing lodge has many amenities sure to please everyone. Whether you are interested in an incredible Alaska fishing vacation or would prefer to just relax by the river's edge, Krog's Kamp is the place to be. You'll see eagles as they soar overhead, and moose as they wander through our property. Occassional visitors include caribou and brown bear. We have a bank beaver on the island in front of kamp who also comes to visit and there is a resident mink who rambles up and down the bank. Oh and don't forget our colorful stellar jays and squirrels who come for their daily dose of peanuts. A great deal of joy is realized from chatting with these creatures of nature.
