Mayoral Candidate Forum
By 2017, there will be more people 65 and older than kids younger than age five. How will your next mayor address aging related issues in policy for San Diego?
On Thursday, May 3, 2012, Senior Community Centers will host the only San Diego Mayoral Candidate Forum focused on aging policy issues. Areas of discussion will include transportation, housing, nutrition and healthcare. Most importantly, attendees will be able to hear where their future leader’s support lies and the plans they are putting forth to shape legislation that affects seniors.
George Chamberlin, executive editor of The Daily Transcript will moderate the event. Paul Downey, Carlos Davalos, editor, PRIME/San Diego Seniors and Sasha Foo of KUSI News comprise the panel posing candidates questions.
