The Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG), is responsible for overseeing and planning projects with the county and each of its cities, helping to bring tax money back home to fund bus service, road improvements, projects that will improve our air quality, and more.

Modeling Services RFP

The Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to assist TCAG staff with traffic modeling assistance and model validation as needed for Tulare County. TCAG is seeking technical and professional services for Traffic Modeling Assistance for TCAG for the Fiscal Years (FY) of 2012/2013, FY 2013/2014, FY 2014/2015.

The consultant will assist Tulare County Association of Governments staff with creating script files, troubleshooting modeling issues, reviewing modeling assumptions, model refinements, developing Air Quality forecast outputs for use in emissions analysis and provide training on significant aspects of the model.

March is Unmet Transit Needs Month for Tulare County Transit Providers. Let us know how we can improve transit to make transit more accessible to all. Public input is crucial as we continue planning and improving transportation throughout Tulare County.

TCAG will be holding a public hearing at the Visalia Convention Center on March 19, 2012 at 1PM. If you are unable to attend, or prefer to submit your comment in writing or by phone, please e-mail Christine Chavez at chchavez@co.tulare.ca.us or by phone at 559-624-7274.
