Relaxed Yet Stylish Documentary Wedding Photography.

I’m often told I’m so chilled out and calm I pretty much live my life horizontally. If this were the case I’d get back from most weddings with a bunch of really inappropriate photos! I do however think my relaxed nature rubs off on everyone I meet. Which coincidentally works a treat on the most important day of you life. To the future brides (and grooms forced to read this) thank you for taking time to visit my site. Even if you don’t choose me as your photographer, please please find someone who’s matches your personalities and that you get on well with. You’re going to be spending a lot of time with them, and your big day is a really bad time to find out you can’t stand them.

If I had to describe my style it would be Stylish, Storytelling and above all Relaxed. I don’t like to direct people too much because you lose a lot of authenticity and real emotion that shines through during a Wedding that way! We’ve all read the “How To Pose” articles in wedding magazines but you usually just end up with stuffy poses and forced smiles that way. I much prefer to compose and just let the natural emotions happen. Of course, having had your engagement shoot prior to your wedding you’ll be perfectly at ease in front of my camera.

If I’ve done my job well you’ll barely notice that I’m there on your wedding day. My job is to capture the natural unfolding of your day that’ll whizz by before you know it. There’s a tonne of unnoticed laughter and emotion that goes hand in hand with the best day of your lives. Of course if you want formals (as most couples do!) we can work together to get a shot list together and ensure your guests aren’t hanging around too long. I’m definitely not a photographer that’s going to be barking orders at guests and making them feel uncomfortable, I’ll normally enlist the help of an usher or the best man (make them work for that free lunch!).
