Chenxi is a leading expert on content security, application security, and vulnerability management. Chenxi leads the effort at Forrester to build the application security and Web 2.0 security research portfolio. Chenxi covers topics such as best practices for content and application security, emerging threats, and operational aspects of security deployment. Chenxi has been frequently quoted in the press, including such media outlets as Infoworld and The New York Times. Chenxi received her Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Virginia. Her Ph.D. thesis work was awarded an ACM Samuel Alexander award for excellence in research. She received a B.S. from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.

Stephen Newman, VP, Product Management

Stephen brings over 14 years of product management experience to Damballa - designing products and product strategies for leading, innovative technology companies. Prior to joining Damballa, Stephen was Director of Product Management for Secure Computing and McAfee. Under his management, his products garnered Leader product recognitions from Forester, Gartner, Secure Computing Magazine, and Radicati. Prior to Secure Computing, Stephen developed and marketed industry leading consumer and business technology products for Boston Acoustics, MegaPath, and EarthLink. Stephen holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
