    Hi Adolfo!

Our company, CareShare, requires developers to help us complete our world-changing, Ruby-based healthcare social networking application. Learn a bit more about us and what we’re doing at www.careshareblog.com Most of our team is based in Venezuela, Costa Rica, and Columbia, so I thought I’d reach out to see if you were available to work with us.

We’ve built an awesome app and are very excited for the healthcare world to use. We’re excited as well to take it to the next level as we scale. We’re in need of developers and have a real interest in hiring you in an arrangement that works for both of us.

Some of the near future tasks we have entail

    1) isolating our search to it’s own server
    2) memcachd-ing the F out of our app
    3) moving our scan storage from s3 to a secure and encrypted DocDB
    4) bug fixes
    5) rails 3 migration
    6) Integrating a real time chat system

I think it would be great if you could take a few minutes to let us how you would approach the six areas above, with an estimate on the effort, and your past experience in these areas.

This application has four main pillars, tied together in a social networking interface:
    - patients check in to healthcare appointments online
    - patients and healthcare providers can upload medical images & scans
    - patients and healthcare providers can refer patients to other providers
    - patients and healthcare providers can communicate via TokBox videoconferencing

These pillars are linked together within a social networking interface, where each user (whether a patient or a healthcare provider) has a profile, and can send information to other users. The security features of this interface are much stronger than any typical social networking platform, due to the sensitive information of healthcare information. Once two users connect, and validate each other through a security process, they can send medical information back and forth between each other.

We currently have a team of about 10 developers working on this project, but this isn’t enough. We need more help building out this Ruby application. We need to expand our team with excellent programmers to ensure that all of our stories are addressed.

Our stories are tracked and assigned on Pivotal Tracker. We have a minimum test code ratio and well-defined acceptance criteria.

Our staging server is based at: https://staging.careshare.managedmachine.com

    Here’s where we are at…
