HYDRATE – 2012 After Aids Walk Ultimate Pool Dance Party & T-Dance

HYDRATE is produced by Kamalani Wilson and put together by LGBHawaii (Hawaii’s LGBT and Allied Business Association).

Fundraisers for HIV charities take on many forms, from men dressed as debutantes to fundraisier events like LIFE FOUNDTION’S 2012 AIDS WALK around Kapiolani Park and YES, pool parties along with a T-Dance.

HYDRATE ULITMATE POOL PARTY will be the attraction to an April 15th Life Foundation’s 21st Annual AIDS Walk event. 2010’s Aids Walk attracted more than 5000 people to Kapiolani Park, which continues to make it the largest fundraiser for the Life Foundation – a non-profit organization who mission is to help people living with HIV an AIDS. The annual semi-day event—organized by Life Foundation – raised a little more than $200,00 in 2010 and is hoping to raise the bar by15% this year.

This year, Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel, Hulas along with LGBHawaii will be adding to the day making the fundraiser a day-long event. After the walk, everyone is invited to attend the HYDRATE Dance Pool Party hosted by Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel. The event will take place from 11:30am – 4pm. HYDRATE will be free of charge however, though not mandatory, those attending will be encouraged to make a monetary donation to benefit this great cause.

DJ Michael Fong and Bryce DJHonu Botelho will be on spinning for the festivities,  Roxy on-the-mic will be emceeing, a live performance from Kamalectra and also  feature a spread of eats and cocktails for purchase.

After HYDRATE pool dance party, attendees and others are encouraged to attend  Hula’s SundayT-Dance that takes place from 3:30 – 8pm. Hydrate will also showcase the original “After Beach Party” , as Hula’s Bar & Lei Stand Presents “Therapy” a  T-Dance.!
