Robert Shively

President and Chief Executive Officer

Robert Shively is President and CEO of Metadigm Services. He envisions an aligned energy infrastructure – one that links power generation to power consumption in real-time.

According to information from the EIA, over half of the electric energy produced today is lost. Through acquisition, internal product development, and promoting industry-wide best practices, Shively is leading a charge to better manage utility assets in order to more fully utilize this country’s energy supply in real-time through intelligent metering, monitoring, and proactive maintenance.

Shively is actively seeking partners, aligned interests and potential acquisition targets to realize his vision of a less volatile, more visible energy infrastructure. He is a frequent presenter and educator on the topic of intelligent asset management for utilities, municipalities, and co-operatives.

Before forming Metadigm Services, Shively was president of SM&P Utility Resources, a division of Laclede Group that specialized in underground facilities. Under Shively’s leadership, the company increased revenue from $85 million to $170 million, which also raised shareholder value $155 million.

Prior to SM&P, Robert was a principal in the Atlanta office of ScottMadden, a general management consulting firm. While at ScottMadden, he led reengineering engagements, acquisition analyses and strategic planning projects in the energy and telecommunications sectors. Shively joined ScottMadden in December 1994. Before that, he held a number of finance and operations positions in the domestic Fountain Division of The Coca-Cola Company.

Shively earned his M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Furman University. He serves as a board member for Area Wide Protective, a utility services company owned by Blue Point Capital Partners. His passions include coaching his daughter and golf. Originally from Cincinnati, Shively currently resides in St. Louis.

Don King

Chief Financial Officer

Don King has held various financial leadership roles in the energy and service industries. Most recently, Don served as vice president of finance with Marubeni TAQA Caribbean, an Atlanta-based international energy joint venture with investments throughout the Caribbean. Don also provided financial leadership for Consolidated Container Company, an Atlanta-based international manufacturer of plastic containers, and served as director of financial planning and analysis for Rollins, Inc., an international pest control company. Don also worked in public accounting and as director of finance for National Service Industries. Don received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Valdosta State University and holds both CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designations.

Ed Ringer

Chief Information Officer

As a highly accomplished and customer-focused Information Technology Executive, Ed Ringer, has a track record of success in establishing IT strategy, leading technical teams, introducing new technology, completing IT turnarounds, system integrations, and implementations of technology that maximize the value to the business. He comes to Metadigm Services from National Envelope Company where he served as the Vice President of IT where he directed all aspects of information technology for an $850,000,000 manufacturing business with 17 plants and 5,000 employees. Ed has Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering Design and Economic Evaluation from the University of Colorado.

Ted Masters

Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Ted Masters has more than 20 years of experience in the electric utility industry. In particular, Ted has deep experience with technical solutions and control systems for utilities, both on the generation and T&D (transmission and distribution) side of the business. Ted has worked in sales in various management roles throughout the Americas region, and his expertise in the development of sales process and execution has helped companies of all sizes experience significant growth. In early 2011, Ted played a key role in the growth of a start-up enterprise software company eventually acquired by General Electric. He also previously was president and general manager of an Italian-based electronics company later sold to Pepperl+Fuchs. Ted holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Tim Glasson

Senior Vice President, Operations

Tim Glasson has held several operational and financial positions over the last 23 years which began at United Parcel Service. Prior to joining Metadigm Services, Tim has been involved in multiple corporations holding positions of District Manager, Regional Director, Vice President of Operations, SVP of Operations, EVP, COO, and President with responsibility for up to 2,000 employees and P&L responsibility in excess of $150 million dollars.

Tim’s proven track record of financial and operational management has allowed him to be involved in building several great businesses. He has experience with multiple acquisitions on both the buying and selling end. The experience with acquisitions has allowed him to gain invaluable knowledge in the integration process with an adept understanding of the struggles that many businesses go through during these changes. Tim received his B.B.A. in Management from Amberton University and holds a M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Regis University.

Jeff Trampleasure

Vice President, Operations

Jeff has spent the last 17 years leading various operations.  His passion is for gaining operational excellence through focusing on leadership development & process improvement.  Prior to his time with Metadigm Services, Jeff spent over 10 years in the utility locating industry, with both industry leaders, SM&P and UtiliQuest.  He served in various roles, from the Midwest through the South, increasing in responsibility through the years.  Before this he spent several years building a start-up courier business with colleagues from his time at UPS.  Jeff is grateful for the many great people he has been able to work with through the years.

Timothy W. Rauch, P.E.

Vice President, Engineering

Tim was previously a partner with Power Engineering Associates, a Tennessee-based consulting engineering firm that was acquired by Metadigm Services in 2011. Tim managed a wide variety of engineering projects for electric utilities, including system studies, substation design, distribution and transmission line design, SCADA implementation and GIS mapping implementation. Tim’s background includes experience with several electric utilities in Indiana and Illinois. Prior to joining Power Engineering Associates, Tim was the director of Engineering for Tri-County Electric Cooperative in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where he managed all areas of engineering and operations including system design, long-range planning, load management, SCADA, mapping, budgeting, rate design, regulatory issues, and member relations. Tim is a graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He has been a Professional Engineer for more than 16 years and currently holds Professional Engineering licenses in seven states.

Monica Chasteen

Vice President, Human Resources

Monica Chasteen has twenty years of experience in the human resources arena.. Her responsibilities include company-wide compensation and benefits, organization design, talent recruitment, management and development, training, HR administrative services, and regulatory compliance.

Ms. Chasteen has been with Metadigm Services for 12 years. Prior to assuming her current leadership position in 2007, she served as Director of Human Resources for Metadigm Services, leading many of the company’s critical human resources functions and initiatives, development of a new global HR information and management system, and creation of simpler and more efficient global HR processes. Prior to joining Metadigm Services, Monica served in a human resources management position at KI-USA, beginning in 1994 and ending in 2000. While at KI-USA, she developed and managed the company’s human resource strategy and served on the executive HR management team. She also managed the HR analysis initiatives and the development of more effective HR processes and information systems. Monica received her Human Recourse certification from Eastern Kentucky University in 1998.

Matt Heath

Area Vice President

Matt Heath has worked in the utility service industry for more than 19 years, specializing in electrical metering for companies like Georgia Power and MEAG Power. Matt is factory trained on Watt-hour Engineering Meter Test Equipment and Spinlab CT Test Equipment. He is also a Certified Current Diversion Inspector. Matt earned his degree in Business Management from Clayton State and currently serves as Area Vice President of Operations for Metadigm Services.

Curtis Spencer

Area Vice President

Curtis Spencer has enjoyed a solid career for the last 15 years in operations. Prior to joining Metadigm Services, Curtis had been involved with data communications for Toyota Manufacturing North America and the United States Navy. Curtis has both an IT background and Field Operating experience which has proven beneficial to the growth of Metadigm Services. Curtis joined Metadigm in 2005 as a System’s Administrator and now serves as the Area Vice President of Emerging Accounts.
